***12th Annual Stanford GSC Thanksgiving Dinner*** What: Traditional American Thanksgiving dinner for Stanford graduate students and their families Date: Thursday November 26, 2009. Time: You will be assigned a seating time (12:00, 1:30, 3:00, or 4:30). Where: Check in at Ray's in the Graduate Community Center. Thanks to the generous support of President Hennessy, and additional funds from the Graduate Student Council, we are pleased to announce the 12th annual Thanksgiving Dinner celebration on Thursday, November 26, 2009, catered by the Coho. Turkey, gravy, and all the traditional side dishes will be served, as well as a sumptuous vegetarian option (a really outstanding spinach lasagna). We have room for 1500 people this year. Registration will open on Thursday, November 12, and close when all the slots are full (or Friday November 20, whichever comes first). New GCC Pub Open! Come to Ray's! |

After three and a half long dry months, there is a pub in the Graduate Community Center! Ray's officially opened on Monday, October 19, at 8:00am. The menu is extensive, the food is great, and the prices are reasonable, especially for beer (premium beer: $3 pint, $10.95 pitcher! Really!). Hours: Daily 8:30am-Midnight. |

For the remaining summer meetings, August 5, August 19, September 2, and September 16, the starting time for GSC Meetings has been pushed back to 6:30pm (food at 6:15pm). SUMMER GSC MEETINGS 6:30-8:30pm!!! |

GSC Summer Meetings will be held on the following dates: June 17 July 1 July 15 July 29 August 5 August 19 September 2 September 16 The regular weekly schedule resumes during the first week of fall quarter classes, September 23. |

The GSC has resumed its normal schedule for Fall Quarter, meeting on Wednesdays from 6-8 PM in the Nairobi Conference Room on the second floor at the GCC. Come join in, and enjoy the free provided dinner!
