FUNDING COMMITTEE CHAIR

It's the duty of the Funding Committee Chair to manage the GSC partition of the graduate student general fee. Specifically, this officer should:

Serve as the primary contact for all student groups requesting GSC funding
Set the agenda and preside over GSC Funding Committee meetings
Report the recommendations of the Funding Committee at the GSC meetings
Manage the GSO partition of the graduate student general fee ($90,000)
Coordinate the funding of joint groups with the Undergraduate Senate Appropriations Committee
Update and maintain the group funding policies of the GSC

The GSC is a member of the National Association of Graduate-Professional Students.
