Can you give a 30 second summary of your research without using too much jargon? If you answered yes to these questions, we have a solution! The Stanford Research Communication Program, , will give a "create an elevator talk" seminar on Thursday, April 14 from 6:00pm -8:00pm. Participants will interact with students from other departments to develop and practice a 30-second summary of their research that is understandable to a general audience. The seminar is open to all Ph.D. students, regardless of discipline, but you MUST REGISTER to be chosen by lottery for the seminar. Free dinner for the participants following the seminar.
