Every Stanford graduate student is a member of the GSC, but voting members make important decisions on advocacy, programming, and student group funding. For more information about the GSC go to http://gsc.stanford.edu

How do I become a voting member?

Voting members of the GSC are elected each year in the ASSU Spring Election, April 9th & 10th, 2008. The 15 voting members are chosen from all schools across campus in an attempt to represent the interests of all Stanford graduate and professional students.

To run for a GSC voting member position: 1) Contact Ivette Estay, the Assistant Elections Commissioner for Graduate Elections, at iestay@stanford.edu to declare your candidacy. 2) Submit a candidate handbook statement online at http://candidates.stanford.edu (click on the GSC Candidate Handbook Statement Submission link). The deadline is Friday, April 4, 5pm.
