Why take on a position on the GSC?

  • You want to practice your communication, negotiation, and management skills.
  • You think your stipend is too low, you are paying too much for parking or public transportation, or you have some great ideas for improving student housing.

  • You love organizing parties with and for your fellow grad students.
  • You want to know more about how the university works and get to know some of the administrators.
